THIS JUST IN: I won one of the categories in the Newman's Own Fast Family Meals Contest!!! The winning recipe - Bandito Chile Cheese Bread Pudding - was posted today on the My Recipes site.It is a recipe I have been tweaking for a couple of years now, and this final version was made using one of Newman's Own salsas. I have posted my Chile Cheese Bread Pudding on this blog before. It truly is one of our family's favorite go-to dinners. Easy. Comforting. Flavorful. What's not to love?

I know, I know. This is shameless bragging on my part. But, in my defense I must say that one of the most rewarding things about doing a food blog is developing a recipe and having someone like my food. It just makes my day (sometimes my whole week!) if we get a comment on this blog where someone makes one of our recipes and likes it! So, to have actual food judges like a recipe is such a thrill! And, the best prize of all is braggin' rights, no?
