During BURRITOS!-Palooza, we shared three recipes from the cookbook that are a great examples of the different chapters and wide variety of BURRITOS! you will find in the book. There are actually more than 70 recipes in the book PLUS extra recipes for delicious sauces, rice and even a homemade tortilla recipe.

BURRITOS! is filled with our favorite recipes that have been updated for today’s busy families as well as new and original recipes that will change the way you think about BURRITOS! It was really hard to decide which recipes to feature!
The first recipe had to be a Southwest recipe. Posole BURRITOS! is a perfect example of the UPDATED CLASSICS chapter. It takes the Old World Latin flavor of traditional posole and updates the recipe for the slow cooker.
Next was a favorite recipe from our mother’s childhood, New Mexico Frito Pie BURRITOS! You may recognize it from a State Fair or carnival near you.
This recipe is from our All-American Classics chapter. Who said BURRITOS! have to be filled with traditional Mexican flavors? We took great American regional recipes and rolled them into a warm tortilla for a portable, easy to eat meal. In this chapter, you will find some of your own favorite recipes like Cajun Jambalaya and San Francisco Cioppino.

We saved the best for last! Mongolian Beef BURRITOS! is one of my family’s favorite recipes and the perfect choice to keep teenagers happy!
The Around the Globe chapter of our book will change your life. Well… at least the life of your BURRITOS! We have taken favorite recipes from around the world like Mongolian Beef, Massaman Curry and Chicken Marrakesh then, rolled them into BURRITOS! Why? Because they are delicious!
