Fajita Dogs Recipe

Fajita Dogs

It had to happen.

Two of my favorite things to grill had to collide: fajitas and hot dogs.

Oh, sure, I can only eat hot dogs about once a year. So, why not make it a flavor-packed dog?

I was inspired by co-blogger Sandy’s amazing culinary masterpiece – Sonoran Dogs. Then, she created another OMG southwest dog: Green Chile Dogs. The gauntlet was thrown down! Sibling rivalry kicked in! I had to have my own ‘dog’ in the fight!

So, this dog is easy enough for a weeknight grill dinner. Just slice bell peppers and onions (I like green onions cut in half lengthwise), toss them in some vegetable oil and throw them on the grill. Grill up your dogs of choice and then toast your buns and – Arriba! – instant southwest feast.

Happy Grilling, Everyone!
