The last week before Christmas is always filled with unexpected events and surprises so, in order to keep my crown as Queen of Last Minute, I try to trim my schedule down and clear away all the frills. I just focus on two things—what I really NEED to do and what I really WANT to do.

The "want to do list" is the best part—finishing homemade gifts for family and friends. Then, something just for me like making a fancy dessert for holiday dinner or making a pot of steaming hot chocolate or popping popcorn to share while driving around looking at the holiday lights.

There are two or three recipes in this list that are perfect for the "Want List!" I even have my eye on the Chocolate Mocha Roulade from Laura at Mother Would Know.
